I was co-dog for Jeff and Al Jordan back in the 80's. Built my current 5 car using some of the same designs that Ed Frisk did. Talk about nostalgia. Would love to get my hands on our old car. Probably could get Al or Jeff to do a full restore! I'll try to down load some old picts. Here is my current car.
I have the Hot VW's front cover of that Jordon car framed here at the house.
Can you scan and download. I am Russ (Rusty) Parker. Name should be on the side somewhere. Good to hear from you Ed, are you still building cars? For a while back then you were the king of 5's with Person/Vinje car, Schmidts, the Miller Highlife car and ours (Jordans). ANy idea where that car is today? Heard it took a pretty good digger after Al sold it.
Hey Ed, kirk steingerg and I were talking about that this am he was sure it was your mig welds we were wondering what you have been up to? drop me a note some time

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting.."Holy **
Ten bucks worth of acid & a scotch pad will clean it right up, along with 20 bucks worth of WD40
I really meant that much in elbow-grease...LOL!!! I'm lazy, so my personal "labor" isn't cheap. It is a great find for sure! ...some hours of scrubbing will be involved.
We bought our class two from the Frisks back in the eights had the same rear suspension as the car you have. Our car worked very well. Then the a arm cars started coming on.I miss that old car would make a nice 12 car now.

This is a really cool thread to read. I would love to see some of the old cars you built Ed, whoever you are. I didnt get into this sport till 95 so forgive me for not knowing.

I need to help Allen with the spelling of my name, Steinberg or Steinburger as the tinman (GBF) refers to me.
Hey Ed, it's good to see you are on RDC and pics of your cars.
I had a pretty good idea it was a car you built by the cool tabs you and Jeff used on your fi-fi joints, like at the top of the rear bumper.
I am reminded of the TALL 2 car that you built, that was a great fit for a little guy like me!
It would be great if you can post some pics of the cars & trucks you built, they were always so clean.
