This is a RunWhatYouBrung (RWYB) Open Class event (four-wheel cars only-any type).

• Start according to POST-MARK. - ALL CLASSES and...
  
• Start by Rows: Faster Classes first - Dead Engine start.
  
• "BOMB RUN METHOD" on private property.
  
• BRING YOUR OWN INSURANCE - We carry liability for US ONLY!
  
• Tech exclusively for "Safety" -

1. Roll Cage
2. 5-Point Harnesses

3. Amber Light and stop lights required on rear.

4. Safety nets

5. Fire extinguisher

6. Radio/Cell either or both preferred

7. Helmet, goggles, fire-suits, water
8. Flares or safety beacon

• If you want to cheat or sandbag, that's up to you. But...

• We reserve the right to move you to a different class, at the last minute, if we feel you are a "sand-bagger" or even after you've finished

• Most Classes of off-road - Incl. pre-runners, "Chase" trucks, Baja, Rails - All have to meet the safety standards
  
• Race is 3 -hr. on an approx 10 mile course - If you have to go to bed before 4 a.m., don't race!
  
• Entry = $150 - $100 paid back to racers by Class!
  
• We use the 30% of Class formula
  
• PRE-ENTRY ONLY - MUST BE IN BY AUG 10 - No sign-ups after Aug. 10th.
  
• 15 mph through "scoring" chute and Main Pits
  
• No outlying pits - Only Check-points - NO CHASING!
  
• No membership required
  
• FREE Overnight Camping at the start/finish
  
• NO PIT Bikes, Quads or UTVs
  
• NO PRE-RUNNING - Unless you sign-up to race earlier in the SuperCourse #5, either racing bikes, quads or UTVs.
  
• LIMIT ON NUMBER OF ENTRIES - Sign up early!

No pre-running is allowed for this race. Besides, you'll be in the dark. Just follow the fluroescent tape and arrows and you won't get lost.
By the way, this is a race for those who can't afford the Big Guns: BITD, SCORE, MORE, SNORE, HDRA, VORRA, etc. We're just going to be up late that night with the SuperCourse #5 event, so why not stick around a bit longer and get some of the four-wheel trucks, buggies, pre-runners, etc., to get off on this great course.

And, NO, we're not trying to compete with the others, this is just for fun and to pay out a few $$$ from the entry. (See info)

This is something that is pretty cool that Lou is doing, As you may notice, racing in general in this state
has gotten rather difficult, Cal City welcomes the OHV community, Its one of the few in this entire country

So please support AVE and their efforts to preserve our sport, Mexico is great and is in its own
awesome class of desert racing, but a lot of us just dont care to travel there including myself.
