Travis Pastrana Running Chicago for TORC?

Seems like there is a tease going on out there. Check out Travis P Facebook page with image of new PRO 2 sitting next to Bryce's. Travis says its his new Toy, and Bryce Menzie FB page says t - minus two weeks till launch. Puts in right into Chicago TORC race wheelhouse for live SPEED show on friday July 20th.. I'll be watching for sure!

Red Bull is doing a big show from fall Crandon to air in Dec. Maybe Chicago is a test before Crandon. Hard to think that a truck would be built for one race only. Or it could be nothing

Pastrana's wife let it slip on Twitter during the X-Games that Travis would be running a second Red Bull truck at the Chicago round.

Weather or,not he's a good driver which I personally think he is. The fact that he is racing is good for the sport it will bring more positive attention to offroad racing. He is a humble down to earth guy that's getting the opportunity to do what we all would love to do. So I say good luck Travis!

Well said. I think this is a good thing for the sport. Travis has won a handful of rally car races. The dude knows how to wheel.

TP is easily one of the top driving talents today, when driving talent counts. With the exception of road races, Napcar is a money and engineers race, so I don't understand his desire to get behind the wheel there. He should just own the team and hire the driver, similar to his monster truck deal. TP will be a force in Short Course if he wants to. I think he could be competitive in WRC in a way that Block hasn't. Yes....I'm a fan

Are you serious? TP deserves a little more credit than that. The guy can drive. Rally America was starting to get really boring because he was running away with everything. He took three straight championships.
