Re: New score super 8 class

This class will be big no doubt. And the stock engines will hold up as well as an engine built upto the point it's ready to blow when it's put in the car like a lot of the class 10 motors were. The reason for no dry sumps and all the other questions is the factory builders want to see how there engines hold up to this sport in the bone stock form. I think this class could do for engines what off road racing did for tires.

How do all the buggies and limited trucks finish on 35" and smaller tires then?
Then you can put 35" tires on your truck.

Ask why all the Pro Truck guys want 37" tires.... Ask all the Top 7200 guys why they all also run 37" tires...

I was trying to use the Life ecu from Danzio because of the data logging and according to Chris at Danzio he would be able to police this as well but like you said and i tried to say. Open ECU and tune pump gas 91 octane done deal. But the other problem is Ford engine is as delivered from Ford and sealed from Turnkey. Ford engine is only a 5.0 so they are trying to keep the 6.2L chevy on par with the Ford.
There were a few issues that out played normal logic but in the end this will be a great class.
( all above is in BITD)

As for Score I think ecu can be re tuned?? Score went a much different route making it hard for racers and manufactures. More people will build trucks to the BITD rule and I also feel there will be bigger truck counts in BITD. I wish Savage would have kept it the same.
The problem with a sealed ECU is that every Vehicle's Exhaust and air intake will have to be very close in design, or there will be lean and rich issues, along with Engine failures!!! OPEN ECU and Sealed Engines by a reputable SEALER.

Jeez Dan, I really wish you would go to college, get a job and occasionally work on your own trucks.... You'd be so much more credible with your observations if you did those things... lol
