Re: New score super 8 class
Here is the interesting thing going with Jerry's build vs Pete's.
Pete Knows what his 3500lb truck can do with 125hp to the rear wheels.
Jerry doesn't know what his build will do with 250hp hp to the rear wheels.
But the simple conclusion is Pete's will have twice the power it had before and Jerry's will have half what it had before.

I put my $$$ on Pete's truck. It will just work better across the board.

Re: New score super 8 class
Basically Pete is doing to his truck what Jerry wanted to do to class 7.... So it's interesting... Figure Petes truck will be a class 7 open.

Right, and I would rather have the $525 in my pocket too but my point is that's what they are charging, it's that simple. I don't understand the point it continually asking the same thing. My other point was when you look at the amount of money you are spending on racing this 1 time fee isn't gonna stop people from racing this class. If your worried about this cost than your racing the wrong class.

I run 35's on our prerunner and 37's on our race truck. I can't compare power loss because it's two diffrant trucks but the way the two negotiate terrain are almost identical.

I just had my prerunner set up to move from 35" projects to 37" and was already a little worried about power loss and such and reading some posts in this thread isn't helping my nerves at all, haha.
