Sorry for getting off topic, but why does DOM come looking different all the time? When building my truck I got the tubing in several different intervals. 1 time it was a metal color like it had clear or no coating. 1 time it was black. 1 time it was a light grey. And 1 time it was a dark grey.

And I wonder if Brandon will keep the nickname. Be funny if he did and 10 years from now finishing the 1k in a TT you hear over the speaker “amateur hour”

It just depends where it comes from. Different coatings, sometimes none. Same with cromo, once in a while you will get some without a coating on it. I even once ordered a axle for my 4 seater and it came un coated. I than had to order another one and had to tell them not to coat it with anything so that it matched the other one, haha. And than they both got pretty rusty after a while.

I still think that hand signal/wave was for the stuck vehicle in front of them. From the audio it is pretty obvious that they were surprised to be hit. It seems they thought they had a bigger lead than they did or sam was faster than they thought he was. Either way the audio makes me think that they did not realize they had a guy behind them.

Well the kid did not move over and he got punted. Llearning about off road racing is tuff sometimes. Now punches being thrown in the pits should have been AUTOMATIC DQ in many peoples book. Theres no time like seat time and that takes years.
