my crew chief said one of your drivers came to our pit and was saying he was sorry? i was not there and for sure they got your car # and they said you broke down after you hit them a few miles down the road....so dont BS ME...your driver Brady? SO WHAT ABOUT THE "FAMILIA" PART? if my family did what you did they would buy me a new bumper---it was also a "AMATEUR" MOVE---

If that is what happened then it happened, I was not involved therefor i do not know. But if it was us and one of our drivers did go to your pit and say sorry, then there is no need to claim that we are amateur racers with no respect for others and are not apart of the offroad racing "family". Assuming of course it was us... but like I said, personally I was not involved and I will check the footage to be clear. There is no need to call me out on something I was not involved in, Have a nice day.

So you got nerfed a little harder than you should have been, the guy who did it came to your pit and apologized personally and you still chose to call him out? Is it possible that he went to tap your car and your driver checked up just as he was moving in making a tap a hard hit?

I was watching the Live on Dirt webcast when the this topic came up, the Iron Man then told a story how he blew the carburetors off of a Baldwin buggy that didn’t move over fast enough after a couple of love taps, then everyone laughed.....the irony.

Seriously though, if this doesnt exist on some level already maybe desert racing could borrow a page from the LOORRS Rule Book when it comes to confrontation on pit row.

8-3 Emergency Action – LOORRS reserves the right to take temporary emergency
action against a participant in the event that he/she acts in a manner that can
be considered a threat to the orderly conduct of an event. Such action may
include ejection from premises, suspension of license, or any other action
designed to remove the threat created. Consumption of alcohol or drugs
before or during an event, fighting, inappropriate driving, and failure to obey
the black flag or other directive of a LOORRS official are examples of conduct
that would warrant emergency action.

8-6 Unsportsmanlike Conduct – Any participant found by LOORRS officials to be
engaging in unsportsmanlike behavior or any inappropriate behavior that
affects the orderly conduct of an event, the interests of off road racing, or
LOORRS will receive a penalty.

I've known and have been racing with Sam his ENTIRE carreer from the early 80's. He has passed me several times and not once has he ever had to bump me. Scares the crap out of me when I see him in the mirror and I wave and find a place to pull over. I have seen him pass cars without them knowing it. Being very close to VORRA officials I have never heard of an incident of protest for bumping and nerfing either.

I have also raced in that area before (have you?), it is very rocky and narrow but there are some places to pull over. At the XO250 in 2010 I was in a bottle neck and found a way around the mountain by reading the terrain and GPS to get back on course.

You will not see Sam post on forums, I'm not even sure he even owns a computer.
