UPDATE on Rick:
Rick has been approved to fly home from Reno tonite, he is doing much better and cant wait to get back to Vegas. On behalf of Rick and Kathy I want to thank everyone for all the thoughts and prayers for Rick and his family. We are looking forward to a speedy recovery from this accident and look forward to seeing everyone out at the races very soon.

Rick is home and resting well stopped by yesterday to see him for a short visit and after sleeping most of the day he is feeling much better. Rick asked me to relay a huge Thank You on behalf of himself and his family for all the thoughts and prayers for them, time to start the healing so that we can see him out a race very soon. I will keep posting updates as time goes on with his recovery...

It was great that the advanced life support ambulance was stationed nearby. Many thanks to the Storey County Fire Department and everyone involved in the rescue.
