The Harris series 30 CVs of today ...

Now that there are two cars actively running the CVs developed from the Pflueger program I figure now is a good time to share. These photos are from the latest generation running the Tribolube grease (that is where the gold color came from not heat) The class one car these ran in has about 300 miles on them. Can you see any wear?
These units run about 34 degrees all day long an with a traditional boot set up where as the Pflueger truck runs 37.5 max angle
It's been a long road we didn't think we would ever be on but I think the end is finally here .... See ya at V2R

Amazing, glad to see that someone didnt give up on a radical idea.
Nikita Khrushchev said"We can't expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism. "

It's the plunging unit, the last one is the Pflueger unit the first one is the speed technologies unit on the dominator chassis. It's a "basic" TRIpost system. the Mackenzie unit would lock up under torque much like the "spline" plunging axles. A plain bearing system just can't move under the loads these things see. These units only need a few ft/lbs of force to plunge at 10,000 ft/lbs of torque.

So, Dave, would you recommend the Tribolube-5 for someone running standard plunging 934 CV's vs. Neo or Belray CV grease?

Alan we switched the champ cars to that grease they ran a standard Kartek 934 plunging axle setup. If you call aerospace lube ask for Scott he is the go to contact there I have been dealing with along with sending everyone his way.

Pat they are in production already. 13 joints exist right now just a few steps to finish them. Since every application is diff they are in limbo. They were made to that stage just because its so hard to get a machine shop you can trust make them and not be $$$ they have to be machined in a vary particular order
