all in all the event was awesome with monster putting up extra money and
the huge vip tower/ freestyle shows all day
you could see 12 miles of the course from platow

even cameron won $ 2000.00 fast qualifier

How does MM earn fast lap on the shortened loop?

Josh was by far the quickest on the first lap.... then the track was shortened.... MM gets fast lap on last lap.. seems off to me

I'm not crying and $2k isn't really gonna dent the expenditures but I just don't see how you award fast lap on the shortened lap? Unless I am mistaken and the course was changed back to the lap we started the race with? I was told the lap stayed shortened till the finish.

I'm interested in what the RDC peeps think about this? I've benn racing 25 years and it just seems like the wrong way to do it to me.

I was thinking the same thing. Josh's first lap was perfect and dust free and had a fairly good lead after Mike had experienced shock issues towards the end of the first lap.

$2000 isn't much but it at least covers our hotel rooms!

Good point. This is a good question. Of course his lap was faster because he did a shorter lap that lap. SO the question is what do you do with the $$? I would say split it. Give 1/2 to the person who had the fastest lap on the first lap when everyone did the same mileage, then give the other 1/2 to the person who had the fastest lap on the "shortened" laps. That seems the fair way to me.
