Dude, the quitter thing is getting old really fast. It sure is fun to spend someone else's money on a public forum, isn't it?

Some said 10K first overall (easy), some said 2k to fastest qualifier (easy) and so on and so on. But when it was established that 2K would go to the fastest lap, it was meant for the fastest lap of the finishers. If you had stayed in the race, you also would have had a chance at running the 3 mile shortened loop that Mike ran on laps 2 thru 5. I know that was not expicitly expressed in the press release when the bonus money was announced, but that is how it was intended so that numerous classes and everyone had a chance at the money for the duration of the race and everyone would keep pushing hard during the race. I would really hope that we do not have to write rules and have an oversight commitee to award bonus monies to the racers encase I or someone writing a press release does not miss a word or intention of the sponsors. When I was asked what to look for when dividing up the money, I forwarded the sponsors wishes and reviewed the times for the fastest lap of any finisher in any class. With all due respect, I would like to return this thread to the congratulation of the win to Mike Mitchell and not have a thread that takes input from everyone with a keyboard on how bonus money should be split. I would have to assume that 75% of the RDC members (which have great input but not always relevant) are actually racers. If you have any questions, please give me a call. Thanks
if this kind of logic, or lack of it, is the way HDRA is going to be run......i will NEVER race one of thier events.....ive been doing this for 30+ years and have NEVER heard of a fast lap BONUS connected to finishing results, and im pretty sure EVERYONE ( that ACTUALLY races, not on a keyboard) will agree......btw, i thought the other thread was the DUMBEST ever....just been topped....this ryan guy is a complete moron....

You need to chill in a big way. You are hurling insults at a team that has plenty to be proud of. Hustled as hard as anyone to make it to the finish line for, like, ever. We have Helped countless others to make it there also and are led by a man who has done more for the sport of desert racing than almost anyone. It seems you have some personal issue with the DA. If so then just say it.
We lost this weekend. We know it. If you take great pleasure in point out the fact that the decision was made to not continue then thats your right and nobody can stop you. We have beat ourselves up plenty. Packing the trailer was no joy I assure you.

Wow, you are out of line. Why should anyone give you anything?????
You wanna race a TT go earn it just like PAB, Josh, PDiddy and the rest do it at the DA. The whole Desert Assasins team are made up of some awesome hard working people. So don't talk crap. Do you have any idea how much a TT trans cost? Do you have any idea how much a TT prep cost? So if the DA broke a trans and were out of contention for the win then that is their choice maybe they were trying to save the prep for another race.
I agree Fast lap is for advertised lap. I was not there but it sounds like it PAB, Josh and the rest of the DA was delt a crappy hand.
Good luck at V2R we will hopefully see you there.
