    Re: Upright question

What is easier to pull a nail out of a board with, a long handled hamer or a short one?

Upright height is determined by a good deal of factors. And it will change dramatically with KPI king pin inclination change. A taller upright could be put in place in a new stock pivot application to accommodate the stock limitations where a shorter upright could favor older chevy geometry.
There is no one size fits all upright, most builders would look at these factors when building there upright.Roll centers, camber gain at bump and droop, caster gain if there's rake built into the front end etc...These are all things that will be determined by your uprights and the list below. If you would share what you're trying to accomplish or what you're planning to build I could probably help. RW

    : Tire size
    : king pin inclination
    : scrub radius
    : instant center
    : roll center
    : lower a arm spread
    : upper a arm spread
: height between upper and lower a arm pivots
    : track width
