GPS for XR 250 R
Hi, i'm trying to find a good GPS device that would work with my 1986 Honda XR 250 R. I really like trail riding and would like to hook up the GPS device to Google Maps to download trails and whatnot onto it. im not really too sure which to get or what would be good for my dirt bike. Any information or anything would be greatly appreciated.

This is a good place to start learning about gps units:

Personally I have a Garmin GPS60CSX and really like it.

Go to Trail Tech they offer several models with everything from GPS file load up to all the other functions that you might like, speed, time, average speed, temp, total ride times etc. easy to install and it is worth the money for a complete package system. Chris is a contact at Trail Tech, great people with good products. Good luck and enjoy!

What kind of phone do you have? If you have an iPhone, I'd suggest getting the Motion-X app. I used it at the B500 without a single issue.

Re: GPS for XR 250 R
I would recommend to buy a navi which is made for bikes. There exist severals on the market and they are better than all the phones.. I would also check if you have the newest updates and GPS maps on it.
I'm not a fan of iPhone maps, I rather prefer having a separate gps navi than having it on the phone. Dunno...
