beer cans
It’s coming up on my birthday and that means it’s time to make the run to Idaho falls to cash in the dumpster full of smashed beer cans the shop has acquired during the last year somebody actually read the top of one of those things and it appears that they can be redeemed in California for 10 cents apiece that is a hell of a lot more than a buck a pound so if I was to say load the truck bed up with smashed cans and head to kalifornia for a much needed R&R can I cash these things in? There are 6’x5’x3’ of smashed cans I’m guessing around 11000 of them [if my math is close] that works out to $1100 bucks instead of $40 bucks so what don’t I know regarding this let me know. and no i did not drink all of them by myself [gave her a good old college try]

Re: beer cans
They must say CA CRV on them. The ones purchased in CA do not have 10 cents printed on them. But they do say that if I went to Michigan, I could get 10 cents for them. Since I have AZ plates on my truck, every time I recycle, they are sure to "sample check" some cans. CRV aluminum is going for about $2.00 a pound in the San Bernardino County area. Good luck and get your R&R anyway.

After further inspection they say CA CRV next to that it does say MI 10 cents just what the hell does CRV mean? and how do they know the cans came from california? if their is any money in this I know of 5 bars that will pay just to get rid of the cans between all of them they sell over 800 cases of canned beer a week during touron season [that is a cross of a tourist and a moron] i just wished their was a market for beer bottles.

Re: beer cans
CRV= cash redemption value. .05 in Kali. Finding some place that will actually give 5C each is difficult, most want to pay buy the pound. Another "It's not a tax" scam by our Gov..........

Re: beer cans
The cans don't have to come from CA. As long as they say CRV, you are in business.

Thought of this long time ago...
Sounds to good to be true, huh!??
There is just one small catch...You
can't crush the cans to get the "CRV."
Hence, you'll be transporting mostly air.
