    Any info on these shocks?

I picked up some older bypasses from my buddy that were supposebly used on a Terrible Herbst truggy, does anyone recognize them or have more info on them? They are about 14-15" stoke and have 1 1/8" shafts. Thanks.

They are kinda taken apart in the 2nd pic.

The bypass tubes kinda look like Mike Smith shocks, but the rest is unique. The resi connections to what used to be a rebound tube is very odd though. In order for fluid to pass in/out of the res, the poppet valve must have been removed. But with no poppet valve, there will be no damping in either direction when the piston passes through that area.
