Re: caution when changing a tire
lol, As insane as some pit areas get they are really lucky he didn't put it in gear. Like Nimrod said, 'almost too predctable'. It's always so much fun when you are changing tires and there are 9 people wedged betwen the jack man and the tire changer and the tire carrier has to fight through 4 people to get the new tire on. It's really nice when the locals help you with the flat you just took off, they wouldn't want it to be in your way while putting on the new tire. Of course you never see the old one again but at least you didn't have to load it in the chase truck.
We all like to complain about it but the stories would be pretty boring if we never pitted in a Baja mosh pit.

The pistol pete double-codrivers is a good idea, because you also need a guy to prevent the locals from helping themselves to your tools, cameras, and anything else they can steal off the truck..

"That's another dimension of pissed off" - JEFFRPM. I DON'T KNOW WHY THAT MADE ME LAUGH MY @$$ OFF. I DONT KNOW HOW HE KEPT HIS COOL. I'M GUESSING MOST PEOPLE WOULD HAVE LOST IT. IMAGINE IF THAT HAPPENED TO B.J BALDWIN HE WOULD TURN INTO THE VAMPIRE FROM THE LOST BOYS. IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE, HE COULD HAVE PUT IT IN DRIVE AND THEN WHAT?

Think about it 500 grand TT running off with a drunk local at the wheel you would never be able to leave mexico they would eat you alive and burn your truck. And if that driver was me I'd still be pounding on his head to this day and it takes alot to piss me off cause i know what i'm capable of and it ain't pretty.
