Re: Admins @ Dirtfish
Just got back from the 3 day class at Dirt Fish rally school. Mixed feelings on how much the rally world and off road world intertwine. I found myselfs a little discouraged after day one and two, trying to adapt braking skills and turbo lag all while being coached from the passanger side of the car. It's definitely a fun time don't get me wrong. Day three I really focused on listening to the instructors more, stopped doing what I "felt" like doing and started to put in some solid/consistent runs. The price tag w/ insurance was $3,450.00 was it worth it, I don't know. If it was a choice of running a race or attending the school, I would go racing. Rally is all about precision, the stuff we get away with in our high powered TWO wheel drive trucks & cars is crazy. I like driving with the rear end of a truck, I believe thats the way God intended it to be done. Can't wait to see the shots the RDC crew got.

Actually, what it comes down to Desert Son is how well you can control your vehicle versus the road. At Desert Storm the course is almost like Parker 425 except we use a stage road(s). Can you master that road with the instructions laid out in front of you..same way as a off-road race except you are going one at a time to master the shorest time from Control A to Control B. If you take the time out to do a stage rally...you will find out there is a intertwine...when youa re in a school setting. You are trying to best to listen and learn so much in a short period of time We have in the SW region a Lucas Oil 2WD championship...there is a Production Based Truck class we can do if we get enough interest to do it.

Where is the Video? They said you shot a bunch, hope it's still coming. I know editing is a pain. Thanks in advance.
