Help with Choosing Air Bump Stops Size for Vehicle?
Hello!
I have been looking for an article, write up,details on how to choose the right air bumps. let me know is there is link to one please.
Meantime.
I want to place bumps on the rear of my Tacoma leaf sprung deavers 16-18" travel, playrunner (not racer) with triple bypasses.
2.0 or 2.5 x 4" or 2" thats the dilema. i just dont want the shocks to take all the abuse.
Thanks\

I'd go with 2" travel for sure. You want the shock to work with out the bump interfearing all the time. The air bumps should only touch on the really big hits.
lets say your running 16" travel and 4" bumps. At ride hight you have 8" compression tavel for arguments sake. that means half your compression travel is into the air bumps. not good in my opinion, but what do i know
You'll probly only need 2.0's if you not racing, though i doubt the 2.5's would hurt any.
