Sad news today for the loss of Jose Santiago Soto " el buzo" RIP my friend

Today the off-road community and myself lost a good friend. Jose Santiago Soto also known as "el buzo" died in a offroad racing accident today doing what he loved. They were racing in a Class 1 near Los Cabos. There are other injuries but I dont have full details at the moment.

Jose was an instrumental part of the Traviesos Racing team for the last several years. Not only did he do most of the work on the car he also was the copilot for all the races. Because of Jose their team is currently 1st place in SCORE class 12 on the verge to win their first championship. Im sure a lot of you new him at the races. He was a man of few spoken words but one of the best in the business. I will always be proud to have called Jose my good friend. I have many good memories that I will never forget. RIP my friend...

I talkd to Jose a number of times via facebook chat through out the years about racing in Cabo and fabrication etc. I never met Jose in person, but he was always very helpful and fun to talk with. Sad day & night, losing 2 people at 2 diffenet races for the off road communnity. Via Con Dios Jose
