After the start of lap 1 around mile 3 I noticed the car would not pull the soft and the car was flooding out and had to stop a couple times. Ended up doing the rest of the lap on limited power. Got the car going again for lap 2 and the brake master cylinder took a dump right off the bat and had to do the rest of the race brakeless. Lap 3 had a flat and we ended up finishing 5 of 6 laps. Barstow kicked my cars ass literally, chunks of my skid pan are missing and pretty sure I have a cracked motor case. Gained some good experience as always doing a race and look forward to giving Barstow another go in the future. Congrats to the Winner/ Finishers!
Thank you guy's, it was great to team up with you. Sorry for the bad luck, we'll get them next time!

My teammate it is not controversial you were not cheating, you got off coarse and relizied it and got back on coarse. Blm saw it and Jim has to enforce. All the swingers know you are not a cheater!!

Re: Let's hear your story!
WOW! After reading Dusty Times Im even happier with how the race went for 982. The fastest guys in Class 9 were there and I led for three laps. Im pretty excited about that! And yes, I know the only lap that really matters is the last one. LOL But after not having driven a race car in over 4 years, and less than an hour of testing, I am pretty happy with having been in the top three. Then to lead for three laps and take home a fourth place trophy after a VERY long pit stop to begin the last lap, I consider that good for a first race back.
Good times!
