I have been running mine for months, no issues at all. I have seen them brake when augured into the ground like a railroad spike but, not while under realistic driving conditions.

But you also know how to avoid a parking block while running full speed across the Walmart parking lot.haha

The new bumper ripped off the underside of my buddys SC8e after one small nose dive when he was testing the truck out after some oil and spring changes.. Evedently the bumper doesnt bolt to the chassis itself? Or only with two screws on the bottom? Im thinking it uses the 4 screws. My buddy is claiming only two. Comon sense tells me with only two scews at the bottom and a head on hit would roll the bumper up and off. I dont think AE is dumb enough to screw something like that up though. They have been in the game to long and know better.
