svt raptor warrenty questions?

what does the warrenty on the svt raptors cover. i have heard that if i was driving the trucks on trails or dunes and i loose a body panel the warrenty covers the replacement. like i said im just trying to figure out what the warrenties cover and doesnt cover before i think about getting one. because if i buy a truck that was built to play with im going to play with it but i want to make sure my warrenties and everything will pay for themselves. just curious. thanks. also like i said i have heard alot of people say that if you do damage the body of the truck the warrenty replaces it???

I have never heard of a warrantied body panel. Now if you get bad wheel studs and they snap off when you pull out of the dealership and the wheel crushes the fender i can see that being covered because it was caused by a part failure but if you hit a tree or whatever, im sure you are left to deal with insurance and not warranty.

As fas as specific warranty issues, you should ask this question on the raptor forums. you will country wide people who have dealt with ford. Some with success and some without.

I have Never heard of the body being covered under warranty. I am positive that it isn't. Also depending on the dealer they may not cover suspension or other drivetrain components if the were damaged off road.

The warranty is just a standard warranty not anything special for the raptor.

You are likely to get multitude of answers until you pick up the phone and call Ford. Sure body panels aren't covered though, unless its corrosion related or a defect as Dan mentioned.
