In nascar they wont even put stickers on a car thats already been wrapped because the edges of the stickers increase the drag #s in the wind tunnel,on our sprint cars anything over 7 deg on the wings creates drag but anthing under about 5 and the cars are to loose, If we run a non wing race at our home track were 3 seconds slower per lap on a 3/10s mile clay oval thats providing our drivers can stay out of the wall.Down force being key in all motorsports to hooking up and powering forward, although lift can raise some eyebrows when considering various offroad track conditions I think its a dream, looking at some of the wings that have showed up on numerous trucks and buggies over the last 40 years tells you people are thinking about it but its very experimental with little or none data to back it up. I do think there is mph to be gained with the right body lines with one peice side panels, windsheilds and enclosed cabs,Ivans trucks were heading in the right direction years ago.
The section you see is a slice along the trans tunnel...Maybe the drivers arm would be in that slice. And yes no radiators. if you look at Robbys you will notice he takes just a few inches from the back window and directs through the coolers and under the fuel cell. And his radiatiors are in the nose. He condenses surfaces. Makes them easier to control. Plus his front mounted radiator puts weight out past the wheels. On off road vehicals centered wieght makes a much more uncontrolled force vector from the more centered polar moment. You want all your weight perfectly spread out to the farthest 4 corners. Kind of like a catamaran vs a v hull boat sitting in the dock and a wake comes at it. The catamaran is more stable because the spread.
Also, on Robby's truck you will notice he has two really neato dashboards one for the driver and one for the passenger. Yeah they are neato looking but they also help direct air around the drivers body. I always thought this should be taken to the next level with two practically indy car tubs with the little windshield and the design of those works with the helmets for airflow. Then from the tip of the hood all the back to the TAILGATE is totally flat and smooth.
