    I think the scoop on the back is radiator flow assist. It apears at some point they decided all that crap was a waste if the radiator was moved to the front.

    I always thought on my dream truck design to incorperate the radiator lines into the actual chassis tubing.

    Among other ideas for using the space inside the tubes. Such as Power Steering/Hydro Reservoir .

    This would get all of these items with no mounting hardware and also less aero drag.

    I even have a pin/bolt design that holds all the shocks and suspension with one small bolt and you would only need one small wrench to take apart the whole race car. LOL

    Similar to the concept on heavy equipment.

    My Under drive made the biggest difference in getting the next 10 to 15 MPH as well as 0 to 100 MPH time.

    If all these George Barris style "customizations" were tried in the past, what was learned (or not learned)? Why didn't everything today develop into Dakar looking cars/trucks?
