This was a pretty interesting project that rolled into our shop a couple weeks ago and thought we would share it. Once completed it will be one of the few fully built Raptor prerunners on the market, with a cage front to rear, HM Racing Design Long Travel suspension, 4 link, etc.
The truck itself is a 2011 Ford Raptor Supercrew with only 8,000 miles on it. The owner loves his Raptor but still wanted more performance than a simple bolt on kit, and decided to build the truck as a fully functioning street legal prerunner to take to the races and cruise in the desert. We will post more info on the front suspension and rear 4-link as we get closer to finishing them up.

I never understand the people that buy raptors, then change out all the suspension and flares
it started as a raptor with 8k on it.
while the cab is the same, the little raptor gizmos are pretty cool but yea, it seems it would make more sense to use a regular ford for a build like this.
we have a perfectly good raptor at our shop on a table that is just a motor and cab and frame now with like 2k on the clock (if that) and it will be a project soon also...
if I was infinitely rich i would buy a raptor and slam it to the ground just for the fun of it.
There's a market out there for Raptor oem take off parts. Definitely drops the base price considerably when you're getting good money for all the parts you're swapping out.
