35's or 37s?
I have a 99 F-150 rwd, going to lift it 5"/3". Fiberglass, etc, I was wondering do you tink a 4.5" rise fender would make 35s look to small, and what are some good 37s for sand

I wouldn't put fiberglass on it unless you are doing a long travel front suspension. It is unecesarry and looks funny.
As too tires, the biggest tire you can run without it rubbing or binding will prob look the best but running a 37" tire with stocking gearing and brakes will not be fun.
And paddle tires are the best for sand.

I don't think you can clear 37's... I'm pretty sure you'll have to trim your bumper to clear 35's... I'm a Chevy guy so I'm not 100%, but please for the love of God do NOT put flared fenders on a non lt truck.. You'll be "that" guy.

Guys he's in South Carolina. He'll be the only one around with white fenders, he'll be OK

Re: 35's or 37s?
I meant 2.5" rise, and 4.5" flare. haha
And I'm taking my bumper off and getting a custom one made
Yea, everyone just has mudding trucks around here and for now I don't have 5k to drop on LT. Plus I'll be getting a good off-set and spacers so it looks good with the fiberglass.
So 5" up front and fenders, would yall go with 35s or 37s? And I like Red Letter grabbers but I can only get them up to 35", what are some nice 37s I can also DD
Thanks Guys

Get BFG AT, the not so aggressive tread is much better in sand than a murder type tire. They don't dig and ride on top of the sand more. And they are prob the best off road tire on the street.
I wish I could run them on my prerunner but I hit too many rocks, hehe

Hey man....the 37's will be HELL on your drivetrain, brakes, and gas mileage. Untill you can gear the rearend to match the tires...stick with the 35's. (which are still too big for stock gearing IMO but hey, it's yer truck) BFG AT all the way.

Re: 35's or 37s?
Wheel spacers with unit type bearings and 37" tires will not hold up well. Stick to 35" with stock fenders no wheel spacers. Some of the best truck I have been out in the sand with where pretty much stock with a little over sized A?T tires. Use it as a tow rig to pull your beater truck or buggy to do the trashing,4 wheeling, Dune hopping. IMO

Re: 35's or 37s?
Thanks. And yea I'm getting 4.56 and a locker the same week I'm doing my tires. I'm doing it right just don't have 5k right now to drop on LT. Still getting the fenders, but y'all dont think 5/3" lift and fenders would dwarf 35s?
Edit: I'm also upgrading brakes for sure. Cross drilled and slotted rotors, upgraded pads as well. Idk if I'm switching my calipers yet tho
