Ipod cuts out when i key the mic.

I don't have an intercom, my icom is wired by itself, my radio is wired by itself, yet whenever i key the mic, my ipod cuts out. Any ideas why?

The list is pretty long...... Is your power for both coming from the same source? Have you checked for voltage drop? IPOD patch cord run next to the antenna lead? Separate grounds?

Are you using an FM transmitter from your Ipod to your radio? If you are its the race radio waves interupting your transmitter waves.
