Billy Geddes "durability testing" his new Geiser Truck in Australia

    Hey Guys -
Just a quick video from Round 2 of the Australian Offroad Championship - where Billy Geddes put his new Geiser Trophy Truck through a hell roll - and it came out with flying colours!
Both Billy Geddes and Jamie Ward came out of this accident unscathed - and after getting checked over by the medical team and the local hospital were released later that night.
It's a huge reminder of how quick it can go wrong - and why we all wear the correct safety equipment and make NO compromise when it comes to roll cage safety.

The boys want to give a huge thanks to the Goondiwindi Track Officials, State Emergency Service and Ambulance - who looked after them and made them comfortable when things were pretty rough...

Some one up above was looking out for those fellows.
Of course big props to Geiser for a solid and safe chassis build.

And that my friends is what happens when you start thinking of the next part of the race before u finish the one you are in at the moment..
Total lapse in concentration. That was the fourth time I had been down the straight and I just mismanaged my speed into those last hits.Really annoying as we were putting in a smooth run and were miles in front of the field with Brad Gallard leading the way.
Sorry to all my family and friends we scared..
Thanks to the boys at Geiser`s, we had planed to not get that type of "Expirence" this quick but thats the nature of the sport..Some minor repairs and we will be back out there..
Thanks to my pit crew and the safety guys involved at the race.
Oh go and check your saftey gear people!!!!

Blink designs, our classes differ from yours to a certain degree both in motor "caps" and the nature of the terrain. Our "unlimited" classes are called,

1 . Probuggy or class 1 / any open wheel buggy that has a motor up to 6 ltr na or turbo 3.5 ltr.
    2. Extreme 2wd or class 4 / any closed wheel car with same motor rules as probuggy.
    3.Extreme 4wd or class 8 / same as ubove.but 4x4.

some of the turbo motors in the buggys and trucks can get up around 900 hp.
With these rules in place and the fact that alot of the tracks are tighter in reguards to terrain my truck is based off your 6/2700 class truck size with as healthy 6ltr v8 as we could get made.
It`s tuned on our pump gas as per Cams rules.
To answer your question Blink designs the trucks are just starting to claw back the massive field of probuggys with turbo and v8s because we are now getting a better top speed and we can hold our own through the trees.
I`ts a great time to be racing trucks in Aus as I love to battle with buggys that can clock up to 260kph in a truck that is flat at 220 kph!

Sure was a huge roll to see in person. Sure is good you blokes got out ok. Shame they didnt get the truck out of the way sooner though. If only our production jackaroo came away in half as good a nick as the truck did. But the gum tree helped mess everything up for us. I was so releived you guys missed it. Would have been very nasty otherwise.

That was some good commentary on the day by the Offroad Cartel guys... We missed out on the hat though. LOL.
