Electronic Title YZ 250?

Hey guys,


I'm trying to buy a YZ 250 right now from this guy.

I asked if he has the pink slip, he said he doesn't but he has the Title Transfer paperwork.

I asked.. Don't you need the pink slip for a title transfer.

He said no it's electronic.

Can someone explain this "electronic title," and is this guy trying to sell me a stolen dirtbike you think?
