Re: Is Dirt Sports out of business?
This thread is not about getting the magazine at the same time every month. It is about not even getting or inconsistently even getting what you have paid for.
9 pages of crybabies?
Try the third thread with the same stories, and same excuses, since 2010..

My favorite article is the single-page historical - HOURGLASS at the end of the magazine. Love it~!

Re: Is Dirt Sports out of business?
i know they faithfully show up at PROAM and at KING, usually 2-3 issues. the industry gets it but not the public?!?!
When a man knows how to live dangerously, he is not afraid to die. When he is not afraid to die, he is, strangely, free to live.
With that mentality though, I guess we could also make 2 TT classes for those guys that just can't keep up with the faster TTs. Oh wait.... This is racing. - Dan Vance

Re: Is Dirt Sports out of business?
I have to jump on this bandwagon. I was a faithful Dirtsports subscriber till I moved, then I never recieved a magazine without calling into the office. Everytime they blamed the post office. So when it came time to renew we said F that... I had no complaints other than not receiving what I payed for

Re: Is Dirt Sports out of business?
Off road family my ass, I wouldn't steal from any of you guys! Hard earned money is hard earned money. I have subscribed since day one and it has been hit or miss the whole time. I haven't seen an issue in five months and I'm still at the same old address. A class action lawsuit would solve this real quick. Customer service is everything these days and Dirt Sports has failed in my book. I send items USPS and it always makes it to the destination. You can't blame it on the US mail. Bills show up in the mail box every day with out fail along with my wife's five other mag subscriptions.
Cross-threading is just as tight as Loctite

Re: Is Dirt Sports out of business?
My name is Fernando Castillo Abundez, i live in Guerrero Negro, In Baja California Sur in Mexico.
In the 2010 Baja 500, i subscribe to dirtsports magazine for 1 year, i paid an extra charge for the deliver to Mexico, and was ok. But never deliver any magazine to my house; i send an e-mail to them and a i have a response from Mary Provenzano, and she told me that they have a wrong adress of me, but they going to send me the past numbers and everything is going to be normal, but never send me any magazine again, they told me that the Mexican Postal Service is the problem and i dont know, but i never receive the magazine, so i donīt want to renove my subscription because i paid for 1 year subscription, but never seen any magazine to my house, i paid for nothing.

1) Dirt Sports is alive and getting ready to produce our 8th anniversary issue in September. At first, nobody gave us more than six months to survive. We are proud to be here all these issues later -- and still producing a magazine with unique content our reader still seem to want and enjoy.
2) We just sent the new August issue to the printer including a feature story on the HDRA Fireworks 500, an MIM piece on Raceco's new Class 10 car and a feature piece on the life of Chuck Strange
3) We are planning a huge commemorative October issue in celebration of the 45th Anniversary Tecate SCORE Baja 1000
4) While the print magazine biz is tough at times, the fact is that it's still alive and well -- especially more carefully crafted, niche products like Dirt Sports
5) There have been, at times, delivery issues we continue to address. Some has to do with the U.S.mail, some with our distribution houses and some with production. Jim Ryan and RCG is working on several new solutions to these issues. I can assure all of you that the future, in fact, is getting brighter.
6) If there are any problems I can help with, please feel free to email me directly at
[email protected].
Gracias and Vaya con Dios,
Marty
apparently the 15th post of this thread from Marty does not hold any water on this sinking ship huh ??
