Re: Is Dirt Sports out of business?
just got the june issue in the mail today. " not hating ", " just saying " ..... i love the magazine and always look forward to the next issue. thanks to all the folks at dirt sports for the awesome hard work you do to put out the best and the only real magazine for dezert racing. one would think that after all the hard work you put into each and every issue that the easiest thing to do would be to just mail them out on time. i guess not good luck working it out.

Got my "june" issue this past week...definately the best magazine out there. I will say I have gotten every issue for the 4 years I've subscribed...sometimes they're a bit late...but I ALWAYS get them.

Went to my mailbox today and guess what I found, bills! Maybe my June DS will show up next week or the week after that.
Better late than never.

Exactly! Very well-said. I was pretty upset when our big "Christmas gift guide" advert showed up in the January issue and when a call to the rep was made he shrugged his shoulders. It wasn't a cheap ad either and we end up looking dumb. Love the idea of DirtSports but the execution is lacking.

I think people are to quick to judge. It takes a lot of wprk to put a magazine together, specially when the staff is a small # of people. Ive always recieved mine, not always on time, but its there.
I have even purchased advertising for the next three months. (after this negativety started) Without some faith in what they are doing on our part it will not work. Ive talked with some of the staff and they are pressing ahead to try to make things a lot better. They have my support.

If you are just donating money to a RACERS cause, Fast-Aid is a better idea. IMO
The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want....except a lil' racing.

I too am hoping my June edition shows up as well. Why..... It will inevitably be the best write up there is on Ironman's truck.
And Mike, yes, people and maybe me are quick to judge. And yes I do realize that putting together and distributing a magazine with a limited staff must be a daunting task.
The big difference is when those chose that path and take peoples money with the reasonable expectation they get a monthly magazine in return, I believe it offers them the "right" to have that judgement.
Myself, I have 2 print subscriptions and 1 digital. I hoped with the digital that it would take care of those distribution gremlins that have been spoken about but it hasn't.
I wish the best for Jim and Marty and appreciate the entertainment when it comes. This issue has been raised before. Improvement doesn't appear so significant.
If when the time comes to renew my subscriptions there is some money in my gambling fund I'll consider extending.
Till that time I'll hope that my June edition comes or find a venue where I can pick it up for free.
