Unless RG had a lot of behind the scenes stuff going for a while, Casey was doing this first.

Well this makes more sense than the RG deal for sure. At least you don’t need 500 grand to own nothing.
This is like having a WWF show with one round of UFC thrown in?
So will we be seeing a Minnie grave digger? Or a minimum destruction? Little foot?
Will the little trucks get a 8 second freestyle round too?
I guess I am not getting this? I always thought racing was serious and monster trucks were a silly (but bad ass trucks) car crushing show? When the circus comes to town every year its fun to go see the show. But it’s still a circus show. Maybe fields are in need of spicing up there show? We all know NASCAR has played every spice card in the book to stay afloat.
I think promoting short course racing in any way is great! it will keep people looking at the LOORRS series more and that’s a good thing.
Can we expect to see 4 to 6 monster trucks racing side by side at Crandon? Owe can you see the catch fence to hold in a monster truck ? lol
How do you like me now?

hey guys....its a starting point right? I personally would love to see mickey thompson style trucks come back with their own show but knowone has seemed to be able to acomplish that yet, that doesnt mean its not coming, stepping stones, look at CORR, its taken all these years to get short course racing to the level that its at now and only getting bigger, hopefully SST and or Cassey s series will start gaining momentum and eventuall turn into what we all would like to see, real stadium truck racing with their OWN show, not the side show

The evolution of this sport P-2 P-4 Pro light- Pro Unlimited is what came from MTEG and SODA,
We are a serious motorsports series shown on CBS NBC ect ect— why screw it up with some BS car crushing monster truck show? This would be like taking a sprint cup car to a figure 8 demo derby-
I just think this is a bad idea and the only motivation is $$$ plan and simple.
RG is (from what all my friends tell me in North Carolina) broke why do you think he is not in cup anymore? Hell he can’t even qualify to do a start and park! I know the guy that worked on his car this year. It’s sad but the truth.
This will pass and a bunch of guys will be taken to the cleaners ------
Casey should be looking at promoting LOORRS and stepping up into a P-2! or is a pro light all he can handle?
So SIR tell me how going backwards is a good thing?

How is having a full field of prolites battling it out in front of 40,000 + screaming fans going backwards? As usual your views are out in left field.

Those 40 thousand monster truck fans came to see monster trucks Mr. Obvious ---
If you would like to promote our sport at stadiums try passing out free or discount tickets to the next TORC or LOORRS races-- that would do more than stinking up 2 professional racing series.
Put the prolights in their own show by them self’s and you may get 400 people in the stands. And as usual the bling bling has clouded some people’s reality,, like yours
So you’re saying a monster truck car crushing show will take professional short course racing to the top of the ratings? I bet you jumped on face book stocks too.
And youall think this is something new-lol there has been pro unlimited cars pro lights and the stock trucks pulling trucks-tractors at monster truck shows for years, what makes you think this time will break the chain? Because RG or CC wants your $ ? use your head.....

Re: Casey Currie's new series "truck cross"...short course racing is getting busy!
As a kid growing up in the 80's in Houston I remember seeing the stadium trucks & Monster trucks at the same time. Also, Chuck Strange mixed in there.
All I wanted to do after that was build an Ivan Stewart Toyota race truck.
Showcasing the races at Monster Jams would open up to months later bringing in a Stadium truck race only. Remember Goober most of the mass public doesn't know about racing or old Stadium Truck days. Just hope Cassey's deal is more affordable for drivers to actually get in & race.
Hes getting way more exposure for a series in a sport that gets national coverage almost every week.
I like food, dreams & whispers!!!!
