I hate law suits but I don't think I would go as far to say that they made him who he has become. Ken branded himself pretty well before the whole Gymkhana deal came to be.........

I think that it is hard to argue that Mad Media just "recorded" the first three movies when you can clearly see a difference in style and influence in those productions when compared to the later Gymkhana movies.

This would be like Tony Scott or Tom Cruise suing for rights to trademark Top Gun and make anyone else's using it cease and desist- while they may have spent a lot of time and money to make it famous with their film, it existed before them and it will exist after them.

There was a Pontiac Gymkhana to introduce the 1966 OHC inline six.
