After all that traffic and dust thats too bad he lost by 38 seconds! That win would have topped it off! RG has solid points lead headn into Parker!

Very cool video, would love to see more. HUGE difference in the way Robby gives a tap to pass vs. other videos on RDC right now.

Here's some unedited footage from the first six miles. I'm sure some better quality pro stuff will be out shortly.

Re: Robby Gordon V2R VIDEO: 2nd OVERALL
I think we'll see a trend in qualifying. With 55+ cars qualifying the fastest 5-10 cars battle up front in each others dust. He started 53rd, behind 52 "slower than him" cars (I'm saying he's the "fastest"). Now he can catch and pass the "slower" cars easier and have the greater time difference to subtract at the end of the day. It's like taking a rear start but the cars in front of you aren't as fast as you are. My buddy shot a video from Weeks, top 3 cars, bumper to bumper, next group of 3, bumper to bumper and you could see the dust from the first 3 still in the air. RG comes thru, no dust in front or behind.

Re: Robby Gordon V2R VIDEO: 2nd OVERALL
You make some valid points. Remember also, half of the cars in front of him, he never had to pass running, they were already out of the race - which makes for some big voids with clean air. Getting a rear start is not as big a disadvantage as some might think and does have some advantages - especially if you have the experience and talent the that he has. I'm sure with a front start he would have checked out - but look at Rob Mac, you never know what would have happened had RG started up front, he too could have been out early.
