The main GoPro in our car has a USB plug tied into a standard cig adapter plug and then to the car's 12 volt system. Whenever we switch the system off (no 12 volt power) the GoPro stops even though it has it's own battery. How do you all handle this bug? Thanks

Re: gopro anomolly
with the camera case on how do you even hook up the 12 volt source to it? it seems like the port is sealed so you would have to take the camera out of the case to charge it....

Using a skeleton case is how.

I just drilled a small hole in my case. Don't know exactly why you are shutting down, but I would check your settings for automatic turn off when not in use. I set everything to always on.
