As a fan, I really enjoyed watching the TK, all 3 races. Make me start day-dreaming of my grand-kids racing TK someday.

Robby had one of these stickers on his #99 truck at the Reno race.

    Re: I hate Trophy Karts!!!

    My two cents

I have no problem with Robby. I admire anyone that works as hard as He does and can build His own stuff. That's old school and hard to do these day's. This issue has been around since CORR.

If the pro classes were able to run more then I could understand limiting extra classes. If They ran a qualifier, a Trophy dash, heat race and a feature like a short track stock car program then there would be no room for other classes and the Kids. But that is not what goes on. Due to the abuse they take on the track two or three times a day (30 min total) is about all They can afford and hold up for.

To Me the show runs kinda slow as it is but I understand why. Track prep is time consuming and has to be done to keep the racing good and so the fans don't get blown out. The total amount of track time that any class is on the track is very small. But that is why the fans come. To watch things on the track. So that would be a pretty boring show if it was "Pro" only.

Like most on here I have been racing something My whole life. Right now I think the whole Lucas thing is a great WHOLE Family function for a bunch of people. Best I have ever seen. The off road community now has what other forms of racing have always had. A feeder system for new talent. There is already Kids kicking butt that came from TK's. Some of them might not have ever had the chance if it wasn't for the fact that They got to compete on a big stage in front of the right people. R.J. comes to mind for one. I see it in every year in other racing and now here. At Least one Kid is gong to move up and a bunch of Vet's will be back one more spot. Watch out Robby

    So..........
*The TK's don't use anyone's track time (less than all other classes)
*Lucas Needs the entry money (do the math)
*The Fans need more watch on the track than a few pro classes
*The Fans need more see in the pits
*The Kids have fans too. (that pay admission)
    *The Fan's like the TK's
*They are the future of the sport
    *They have hot Mom's
    *And I need the work

[Levity alert] If there are going to be more Trophy Karts at regional races, could Full Stock Truck run before the Trophy Karts instead of being the last race?

If racers are so caught up in trying to make short course more "professional ", they should find a way to race with not having to pay their own prize/purse monies.
    You are missing the point
A: if shortcourse is going to reach a national level, it will not be a grassroots motorsport anymore, that is what both series are trying to accomplish. Sportsman teams can't afford the expense of running a national series.
B: IMO, Having the anyone race before the opening ceremonies is a Joke. Just by doing that, the series is showing that those racers are not important to them. Nowhere, does Robby say that the TK's have a negative effect on the show.

C:Your last statement is so f'ing ridiculous, I shouldn't waste my time, but... THAT is the sole responsiblilty of the series. If they want to get new blood in the sport(which will fuel a national series), THEY need to start putting more money into payouts.
There are two ways drivers would be able to change that, either racing for zero payout, or by grouping together and negotiating with the series, which for whatever reason hasn't ever happened.
