Re: WIZARD FABRICATION SCHOOL
Don't know where you live, but Baker Racing in Orange County has a fab school which is probably more affordable..

Dirtboy, there're two schools now, Riverside and Phoenix, and we're working on a Vegas school. I run the Phoenix school now. Anyway, it's a totally hands on course where the students start welding the first night of class. After the welding portion is done the students form teams, build a jig table, then start buiding their team vehicle. Most teams either build a buggy or a prerunner truck, except for Riverside's new Trophy Truck class, which is obviously a much more advanced class.
We've also had some talks with Klaus about somehow supporting RDC, but the details aren't worked out yet.
If anyone has further questions feel free to post them here or e-mail me at [email protected].
Thanks,
Doug Dixon

Thanks.

Im actually also very interested in attending this school. Ive spoken with the wizard already a few times Dirtboy and the school for prerunners/sandrails costs $6,500 for 48 classes. There is still openings for the Jan. classes, and are filling fast. classes are 2 nights a week, either mon/wed or tues/thurs. from 6pm-10pm. 4 hours. You can go on off days and put in some extra time for more practice welding or whatever. Youre split into teams and first decide what u want to build, then decide where u want the engine mounted and such. It looks pretty dang badass to me and i, for one, would love to be able to learn from guys with a lifetime in this industry. Its so hard getting a start in that sort of field with no experience its ridiculous. No guaranteed jobs yet, but im sure you can work that out on your own.
