I'd tell you to go with Pete Corwin, the owner of Got Sand?, he's the one who built my car but at the moment he's not building cars. Sooooooo, my next pick would be an Alumnicraft or Tatum. Alumnicraft has proven itself in the desert, and John Cooley has won a couple pof championships in the past so he knows how to make a desert car. Tatum is fast becoming a desert favorite and build a pretty nice car (case in point, did you see Letner in Laughlin?).

How good are the Acura engines?
We build prerunners along with all those listed. One thing you want to check is everyone's definition of a prerunner is different. Many have diferent parts and components. You'll want to get a cut sheet of what's included because this can vary tremendously. To, some put a hood and a light bar on their sandcar and call it a prerunner.
