When re-installing cv joints, do they need to rotate on the axle and line up with each other in particular way? Or just put them on?
Thanks,
G.

Just put them on

Also having trouble keeping the circlip on. I've heard about leaving these off? Bad idea?
If the circlip needs to be on, can the washer under the cv be left off to give the circlip more room?
Thanks again,
G.

Are these type 1 CV's or something else?

I am not sure, maybe somebody with some more knowledge could chime in. I run type 2 CV's and don't run any washer. I just slap on the CV and the retaining clip.

No "washer" needed. Check for correct axle length at both extremes (when the axle is level and at full extension) you want free movement in the axle at both points.
Thank you both.

throw c-clip in trash and get spiral clips
Where do you get them? I saw mckenzies had them listed for the 930 & 934. Or can these be used with T4's?
