Ensenada hotels, who lost out?

we lost out at posado el rey sol, as did a ton of other people over on DR. we were lucky enough to get a room from a friend at the san nicolas.

Posada el rey sol is where I was at. They blamed the "Mexican internet" for the problem.

Of coarse we all had problems, its mexico, who ever has the money gets the room.

I guess, first time in 20 years for me though. I must have been lucky all the other years.

same thing happened to me and about 4 other friends. We booked rooms months in advance. I had a friend call me thursday saying his rooms were given away at the posada del ray sol and to call and confirm mine. so i called twice thursday to make sure my room was available. I got a call from my friend friday morning that was ging to check in for me, that my room was given away too, even after i called twice the day before. I will never book a room at the posada del ray sol again.

yeah quite a bummer a the posado el rey sol. even though we had problems the hotel was all in all an awsome place to stay. we go tthere thursday morning and were supposed to have 2 rooms only had one. but then we go tthe presidente suite for like 1/2 price. i like that hotel but i do agree it might be hard for us to go back considering the problems

www.ensenada-hotels.com comes up in yahoo search, I have been using it for a while with no problems, actually I do the reservations months ahead.

2 years ago we had a hotel right on the way in to ensenada..and when we woke up sunday morning, they had looked the parking lot gate and had police there and made us pay for our rooms again..we even had reciepts showing we paid...they would not open the gate until we paid again for three days..
