RACE TO THE CLOUDS

Dennis Sletten and John Stiles of Indio, CA will take on an adventure of a life time. On June 25, 2005 we’ll race to the
clouds in the 83rd annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The second oldest race in the United States. There are 156 turns. 12.42 miles, 4,708 vertical climb, on a dirt road with no guard rails. We will spend the week in Colorado Springs, CO. Registering, practicing and qualifying for the race on Saturday the 25th of June. We will race the 11 Brothers Motorsports, built and rally prepped 92 Jeep Cherokee 2wd to the clouds.

This has been a life long dream of mine to be able to race to the clouds, Dennis Sletten a long time Off road racer will take on the new challenge with the help from John Stiles.
Movin-dirt has let me put 3 cameras in the Rally Heep. movin-dirt.com has more info on the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. Will post more as the week goes on. We are leaving Friday night for Colorado Springs.We run 3 stages Wenesday night. practice Thursday. Run 3 more stages Friday. Then RACE TO THE CLOUDS on Saturday the 25.
