I hate thieves

Ever since we moved to the Cottonwood area of El Cajon I've had some sneak thief b*stard breaking into my vehicles and taking what they can get. The thing that really irritates is it is another off-roader because they've taken lights off my prerunner and tried to get some of the good off road parts. Last night they tried to break into my race trailer. The didn't get in but they did f up the door and managed to pry the bottom latch open. And right in front of my house! If I catch 'em there's no telling what my dobie and I might do.

Can you say VIDEO SURVEILLANCE? There is nothing more gratifying than catching the bass-turds on video and then letting the cops do their job. If your cops our like "our" cops they might even let you get a little payback before they cuff them and stuff them. Off camera of course.

Ok, here's the latest: my wife got off the phone long enough to ask why I was digging through boxes in the garage so I told her about the trailer. She's now moved a lawn chair out to the front lawn and she's planning on sleeping out there with the dobie and a bat. Man I pity them if they come back by.

Can you mount a Motion sensor with lights & stuff .....So when they approtch they Go off? You can probably rig a camera to turn at the same time....

& there always the Old alarm System..

The jerks stealing your **** might not be off-roaders. They might just be stealing it and selling it.


Story that may make you feel a little bit better:
Two of my friends were playing halo when friend #1's dad comes running in huffing and puffing. Some dude had just broken into both of thier trucks and made off with some gun parts, CD's, and some cash. The dad chased the kid through the nieghborhood but the kid jumped a fence and so then friend #1's dad went back to get my friends to go find the kid. As they load up into a truck another truck pulls up. The kid just happened to jump into the back yard of a family of bounty hunters. The kid earned a few bruises before the cops got a call. Other neighbors came out and told the cops that the bounty hunters were being too rough with the kid and the cop told the nieghbors that he would have done the same thing and to have a nice day. He then also told them they should thank the bounty hunters for catching the kid before they had thier own cars broken into.

They have broken in to Complete Fabrication in El Cajon twice this month. Haven't gotten in to the shop, but have stolen from the yard and broken in to a Motorhome stealing the entertainment equipment and tools. They will get caught, and when they do I hope it hurts.

Some punk kid that lives down the street from me stole a bicycle from a house a few blocks away. As he was making his getaway, he rode through an intersection and got nailed by a car. The kid wasn't hurt too bad.....maybe next time.
