Treeline Rally in SoCal

Just wanted to let everyone know that there will be a rally going on this weekend (7/16) in southern California! This is a WRC style rally being put on by Rally America. The spectator area will be located up Azusa Canyon on stages 3 and 4. This is a coefficient 3 rally, and we're expecting at least 30 cars to show up. We tested the car today, and with a little repair work, we'll be ready for this weekend. Our new KW Suspension is feeling really good.

By wrc style do you mean they will have prerunning (recon) for you to make your
own pace notes? How many times do you get to run each stage before the race?

By WRC style, I mean it will be a forest style all out rally. Very rarely do they allow recon (Rim of the World allowed it) in CRS events. In this case, no racers have been allowed up there in the past 90 days, so the terrain should be new to everyone. No prerunning, just the notes that were provided by the organizer. Should be interesting.

Same canyon, different location. The rally will be up further (actually on the fire roads between La Canada and Azusa). The spectator area is up at the Rincon turnoff. The website has all the info, should be a good one. 3-2-1 Rally.....
