new DVD, "Rebound", benefit for Steve Kurtyka
Sometime in June, Victor from Stuck-Throttle films told Klaus about a DVD idea to help out Steve with his medical bills. The idea was to get as many producers as possible to edit sections to make one DVD. Since then Myself and Klaus have contacted producers and came up with about 10 different sections for this DVD. A couple of weeks ago I finished putting all of them together and edited the intro and credits. I just got a message that they will be shipping today so I will have them just in time for the Off-Road Expo this weekend.
You can purchase them online at www.reboundvideo.com or see us at the Dezert People Video Series booth this weekend. So far Camburg and Rhiannon (Dezert Calendars) will be selling them at their booths also.
This DVD is non-profit and the donation is $20 (plus shipping from the web site). If any dealers would like to help sell them you can contact me directly. Please remember this is non-profit so there is no dealer pricing.
for those that haven't heard about Steve's accident there is an info link on the website.
Producers involved - JD Films (Dezert People & Gription), Mad Media (Motorhead), Stuck-Throttle Films, Carlos Rosas, Sinister Film Productions, Perpetual Motion Films,
Bonzen Productions, Hot Rod Havoc, DRTV, Warrohouse Media.
I would also like to thank Fox Racing Shox, Off-road Warehouse, Camburg, Fabtech and Dirtsports for sponsoring this DVD to pay for the production costs.
thanks,
Curtis Guise

I forgot to say that I haven't made a trailer for this one yet. I'm not sure if I will be able to. Its made up of some new content from some of the producers and others contributed sections from their past videos. Overall it came out great, especially considering the short amount of time that it took to put together.

After the last four weeks of doing a race every weekend, I need a vacation. Good thing I'm going to have about 20 hours of vids to watch after the expo.

Its great that you guy are supporting this guy some much and I plan on buying the video. Although I do have one problem, the post sounds like an advertisement. Come on administration you turned of the computer at my shop because of Jeff Lothringer doing something like this. You know who you are, and if you going to do it to one do it to all. Once again I will buy this video to support your friend and his family.

Advertisement????? yeah for a NON-PROFIT DVD..... All the companies and producers were listed because they put a huge effort into something that is helping someone else with only the return of recognition. We have no advertising budget for this DVD at all so posting on the message boards and word of mouth is all we have. I am also partners with Klaus (the owner of this site) in the Dezert People DVDs and I am an Admin on this site as well.
So yes, I will post anything I want to within reason. If someones post gets deleted or they get warned (usually by the other admins because unfortunately I don't have time to police the site) its because they weren't following our guidlines for posting which they probaby didn't read.
Most posts like this should be in the Industry news section and thats why allot of peoples get deleted or moved. But I decided to take advantage of my authority and post it in the forum that gets the most traffic....
Thanks to everyone for the support, I know Steve will appreciate it.
