    5 link rear end setup

    hI there Guys

    I would like to hear what you say about a buggy with a 5 link rear end like the F1 race cars

    You don't realy see it on any race cars. You can find some sand cars with that style, like the suspensions unlimited cars that Larry built.

    the *** would swing in the wrong plane with a pan hard bar (5th link) and long travel.

    I think he is referring to buggy IRS. Each side would have two trailing links, two lateral links below the axle, and one lateral link above the axle. I don't know if this design would offer any advantage over a rear A-arm design.

    Sounds like to much can go wrong there. The more moving parts you have the more you break.
