    Fishy transaction

I made a bid on ebay for an engine cummins 12valve, i lost the auction but the person who won it ended up backing out of the deal. So the owner of the engine told me i had a chance to purchase the engine at my highest bid. Now, this guy who is in the UK and the einge in New Mexico. I recivied an email form ebay, stating that this person was a verified seller and had 15000 us dollers in their account incase anything happend. But the way it its worded mankes me worried. It goes as folows "the seller has $15.000,00 in our account, and if something will happen, you will receive your money back."
It says if something will happen??
Should it not say in case something happens????
It also states that a money transaction should be made first through western union before the engine is deliverd. I just have a wierd feeling about this one. WHat do you guys think??

Report it to ebay right away. Don't use any links provided in the emails you received from "ebay" but contact them through your normal login.

I just confermed it that this low life is pulling a scam, i contected ebay and also the winner of the original auction and he told me he did purchas the engine and is on its way to him. So i almost got punked out of 1500 bucks, apparently i am not the only one to have gone through this. Thanks for your guys help

So the guy is running a legit operation and a shady one- in the same place. That's pretty damn ballsy.

No this guy just ease droped in a way, he saw that i was willing to pay 1500 and he pretended to be the owner of the item i was interested in. I contacted the real seller and the buyer and ebay and they all confermd this guy was working outside ebay, but tried to make himself look as if he was doing things lagit and by the book.
