Saw it on Cyclenews.com last week.

Here is where the local racers get their VP

Gabe, what are Emo's thoughts on it?? What does it mean for races? Isnt the VP rig already at races also, or was it the CL Bryant rig with VP?

All is well. I spoke with VP corporate last week. You should see no hiccups in the supply of VP Fuel at SCORE and BITD events in 2006.

If you have specific questions, do not hesitate to call Mike, Kelly or Bruce at 951-768-7088. They will be handling all fuel distribution directly now and very competent.

That is until a Spec Fuel is mandated, and it's not VP. Keep your fingers crossed so that it doesn't happen.

VP has always been and will continue to be available in Mexico through Ray Gastelum 011-52-664-682-1936.

Ramsey is probably talking about the press release that Sonoco has become the official fuel of SCORE. This was a deal brought about by CL Bryant.

As Ramsey said, for now there is no fuel mandate. I have no idea if there is any intention of making us all run the same fuel or not.

A fuel mandate was tried a few years back and it didn't last long...

BFG is the "Official Tire" of SCORE but you see many other brands out there on the track. I think it's just a series sponsorship, let's hope they don't try to mandate it. I'm sure there will be benefits to using the series sponsor though, right?

Re: VP Racing Fuels/CL Bryant distribution no more?

"Sonoco has become the official fuel of SCORE" used to be 76 but didn't Sonoco by 76? so its just basically a name change on the "official sponsor list" ????
if its in control...your going to slow.
