What happend to all the old Walker Dodges

I was wondering if anybody knows what happened to all the old Walker Evans built Dodges? I know that the Mike Jakobson truck was an old dodge. That the Roger Gray chevy was built by Walker (but I dont know if it was built as a dodge or chevy). But what happened to the old Donahoe truck, Lonny Hembolts truck, and the Greer's truck?

As for the Roger Gray truck. It was started by Foreman racing for a customer of his. It was a chasis only from the firewall back. I enterend a deal with the Gray's to finish the truck and race it with them about six and a half years ago. I built it into a roller and at that point the racing deal fell apart for reasons that I will keep to myself. At that point it was a Ford.

The Grays then entered a deal with Walker to finish it and race it with them for the 2000 mile races in 2000. At that time Walker was a Chevy guy, so they made it a Chevy. The truck was crashed at the Baja 2000 and DNF'd.

That's funny you should ask that question as I was thinking the very same thing a few weeks ago. We use to make a ton of custom parts for all of Walker's trucks and as he sold them we got lots of phone calls over the years from the new owners wanting to order parts for them. It was amazing to see how many times the trucks had changed hands. I figure most of the trucks have all been scrapped or rebuilt to newer designs since we haven't had any inquiries for several years now about parts for old Walker trucks.

Yeah, the knock off's were the first thing to hit the trash can, fallowed closely buy the ball joints........ Actually we sold all that stuff at the swapmeet 2 years ago so you might still get some calls on it.

The Greers' truck is owned Dave Turbyfill, who owns DT Fab in Prescott, AZ. He raced Whiplash once or twice with it. If you look in the classifieds section in the back of Off Road magazine, you'll see his ads with a pic of the truck in it.

They had both...Walkers TT and 8

I have the other greer truck. now a CHEVY. Runs and handles great.

Rigsby Racing has one of the walker pre-runner Ramchargers. I had it at a MORE race this year
