I am really interested in this site even though I have never entered a desert race. My brother Roger and I have a successful rockcrawling team and we have entered a "rock race". It beat the crap out of the truck and was a blast! Took some hard hits.

I found this website through Pirate4x4.com which is the center of the universe for rockcrawlers. Several users also frequent this site. I think there is a lot that can be learned from successes and failures in each sport.

Our team, Lovell Rock Racing, has a Ford Ranger. It was a 1988 but we are currently fitting a 2006 Ranger body on it. The look has been inspired by desert trucks. I will post pictures in the future.

My brohter and I would love to try out desert racing and perhaps expand our team to encompass a desert truck as well.
