    Re: Buckshot car at Parker

I was pitting midway for vildosola in the main pits and alternate pits. I helped those guys fuel at the alternate pit on the first lap.
Both rear shocks (4 inch internal coilover internal bypass blackhacks) where bleading oil profusely, i estimate a 1/2 liter per minute, yes per minute...it had to be that. looked like more than a busted seal or a plain ol leaker...

On another note they where fueling from the drum with a pump and the car, not
being a truley off road race car, has the fuel filler neck in a nasty position, not sure how they fuel it with a dumpcan, maybe thats why they did that,, but it spilled fuel all over the engine and brakes, inside of chasis, dangerous...
They fueled at RM26 cause they were unsure about there mileage...they were estimating 2 miles per galon ?
It is truly a very, very nice car, love the concept, the fiberglass work, styling, suspension, everything....Maybe its cars like that what we should showcase to promote our sport ?

If you look at some pictures of it that are on the photo sites it needs an A-pillar brace big time, defiantly not SCORE 2006 legal.

    Nice looking car other wise

I was talking to the guy driving the car through tech he said the shocks where 4.5 internal bypasses that andrew made himself. They looked kind off rigged and the car had about some of the worst mig welds I have seen on a desert race car so you could say they where great welds for a sand car.

If you want a car like that to showcase this sport because of the things you mentioned, then you must check out Kreger Fabrications "El Fuerte". That is a showcase of true beauty.
